The library has removed the Ministry Matters database from our electronic resources due to ongoing access issues that affected reliable service to our users. Links to Ministry Matters content will be removed from the library catalog over the coming days.

While some resources previously available through Ministry Matters may be added to our collection in alternative formats, we cannot guarantee availability of all materials. If you previously relied on specific resources from this database, please use our Suggest a Book form to request materials that would support your research and benefit the Fuller community.

Wayback Wednesday – Anniversary of the Jesus People Movement

On October 7, 1969, Duane Pederson handed out the 1st issue of the “Hollywood Free Paper.”

The underground newspaper inspired a generation called the Jesus People, creating one of the largest 21st century Gospel movements.

Library Catalog (WorldCat) and Databases Down (OCLC server error)

Library News

Attention:

Starting around noon today, the library catalog (WorldCat) and databases became inaccessible due to an error with our library vendor’s servers (OCLC). Our circulation software has also been affected so that books cannot currently be renewed online. We are still able to check books in and out at the front circulation desk, but we will not be able to provide account updates about fees. We are aware of these problems and have contacted OCLC about the access issues.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and trust that access will be returned within a few hours. We will issue an update when normal operation of our systems has been restored.

Hello Fuller community!

My name is Timothy Grasso and I will now be serving in the David Allan Hubbard Library as our new Electronic Resources Generalist. I will have the pleasure of working with the Electronic Resources Librarian, Daniell Whittington, in maintaining library website functionality and content, facilitating student and faculty access to e-resources, and contributing to e-resource collection development.

Next week, I will be announcing dedicated e-resource help desk hours!  This will provide me with more opportunity to help, both in-person and online, with any e-resource access or functionality questions you may have.

I am excited about this new position, and I look forward to working with you to improve your Fuller library experience soon!

New Database Trial > East India Company!

Library News

East India Company offers access to a unique collection of India Office Records from the British Library, London. Containing royal charters, correspondence, trading diaries, minutes of council meetings and reports of expeditions, among other document types, this resource charts the history of British trade and rule in the Indian subcontinent and beyond from 1595 to 1947. Click here to access the database!

Trial ends on March 6, 2018.
