Library Services During Holiday Closure > Important Dates

Fuller Theological Seminary will close for the holiday season from December 24 – January 3. This means many services and inquiries across the campus may be halted during this time. Below are a list of library services that will be affected due to the holiday season:

Book Pick Up and Books By Mail: The last day these forms will be active is Wednesday, December 16, and the final pick up day on Friday, December 18.

Suggest a Book: The last day this form will be active is Wednesday, December 23. We will make this accessible again on Monday, January 4th.

Extending Due Dates: You can extend your due dates online through your Library Account. If you have exceeded the number of renewals, please send us an email letting us know. We will waive fines and extend due dates when we can.

General & Reference Inquiries: Starting December 23, inquiries made by email or phone may take a longer time to answer. While we will try to reply in a timely manner, due to the holidays, you may receive a response when we reopen on Monday, January 4th.

eReserves: any Korean or Spanish eReserves requests made during the break will be reviewed on January 4th. It is advisable to submit requests for materials needed for winter classes prior to Friday, December 18th.

Book Drop Box: The drop box outside the library will be accessible during the closure. Please note, we isolate books at least seven days prior to checking them in.

SOPMFT Kits: If you need a kit for your winter class, have your professor contact us prior to December 15 with a list of all students in the class.

Please feel free to email us at [email protected] with any questions.

Wayback Wednesday – Anniversary of the Jesus People Movement

On October 7, 1969, Duane Pederson handed out the 1st issue of the “Hollywood Free Paper.”

The underground newspaper inspired a generation called the Jesus People, creating one of the largest 21st century Gospel movements.

WAIS-IV & WISC-V Kits Checked Out

Due to the limited quantity of WAIS-IV and WISC-V kits,  all are checked out to students who need them for the entirety of their courses and are checked out to them for the fall 2020 quarter. There are a few WAIS manuals still available on a first come, first served basis.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Feel free to email [email protected] with any additional questions. Have a wonderful day!

Required Textbooks Reminder

Hello Fuller Students!

As the fall quarter approaches, the following is a gentle reminder regarding required textbooks.

The Hubbard Library may have many of your required books as an eBook or in print, however, it is the students’ responsibility to check the library website for availability. It does remain the responsibility of the student to obtain required texts if the library is unable to purchase eBooks or provide access to print books. Library staff do try to provide access as best as we can, however, we cannot guarantee access to every required textbook for every student.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact [email protected].
Sincerely,
Daniell Whittington
Executive Director of the Library
